AEP Plantations Plc Announces Official Name Change
AEP Plantations Plc has officially changed its name from Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc following shareholder approval.
AEP is listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE: AEP.L). We specialise in the production of palm oil and operate plantations and mills across Indonesia and Malaysia.

With fires and haze currently affecting parts of Southeast Asia, we remain vigilant. Our estates maintain trained fire-response teams, firefighting equipment, watchtowers and continuous monitoring systems. We also use drones and satellite monitoring to identify potential hotspots, including in remote areas. Every detected hotspot is promptly investigated, and appropriate action is taken.
Fire risk does not respect plantation boundaries. We therefore work closely with neighbouring communities and the relevant authorities to raise awareness of the dangers of clearing land with fire, particularly during the current dry conditions.
